Lorenzo Garagnani has a keen special interest in the treatment of children with hand and wrist disorders. This includes not only all traumatic conditions but also congenital anomalies of the hand and upper limb. He was fellowship trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London and jointly led the paediatric hand and upper limb service at Modena University Hospital, Italy. 

In the NHS, Lorenzo is the current joint Lead of the Hand Unit at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital, where he conducts a multidisciplinary paediatric hand and upper limb anomalies clinic alongside an eminent Geneticist. He also runs specialist paediatric hand and wrist surgery clinics and performs paediatric hand and wrist surgical treatment at the Evelina London Children's Hospital.

Lorenzo performs his private paediatric hand and wrist consultations and surgical treatment at The Portland Hospital in London.
